What Students Are Saying
I crammed the week before and just barely passed. The full-length mock exams matched the real format, and the step-by-step explanation on every question is what saved me. If I did it again I'd start way earlier and use a mock to find my weak spots first, instead of cramming everything at the end.
Took the Geometry EOC today and felt genuinely ready. The Florida CAP Prep™ practice covered the same B.E.S.T. benchmarks in the same format, so nothing on the exam caught me off guard.

기하학 EOC — Common Questions
How much time do I need to study before the Geometry EOC?
It depends entirely on your starting point. A typical student benefits from 2–4 weeks of consistent practice (15–30 minutes a day) covering coordinate proofs, similarity, right-triangle trig, and circles. One Florida CAP Prep™ user — an 8th grader accelerating into Geometry — recently passed after only 2 days of focused review on the platform. We don't promise that pace; we point it out so you know the prep can be efficient when it's targeted at the Florida standards the exam actually tests.
How hard is the Geometry EOC?
The Geometry EOC expects fluency with proofs, coordinate geometry, transformations, similarity, right triangle trigonometry, and probability. Visual reasoning and the Pythagorean theorem appear repeatedly. Students who consistently hit 80%+ on our mock exams typically pass their first attempt.
What topics are on the Geometry EOC?
The exam covers all five Florida standards reporting categories: Coordinate and Transformational Geometry; Logical Argument and Constructions; Proof and Congruence; Similarity, Proof, and Trigonometry; and Two-Dimensional and Three-Dimensional Figures plus Probability. Each is sampled across a full-length EOC mock exam.
How long is the Geometry EOC?
The official Geometry EOC runs about 3 hours with roughly 50–57 questions, including diagrams and coordinate-plane problems. Our mock exams replicate this length and visual question style so your timing practice is realistic.
Do I need a calculator and a ruler for Geometry EOC?
Yes — a graphing calculator is permitted, and you may need basic geometric tools depending on the testing center's policy. Our practice questions provide the same diagrams and coordinates so you can train using on-screen reasoning.
Is the Geometry EOC harder than Algebra 1?
Most students find Geometry trickier because it requires both algebraic skill AND spatial/proof reasoning. The questions involve more diagrams. Our weak-point retargeting catches whether you struggle with proof logic, coordinate work, or trigonometric ratios — so prep time is spent where it matters.
What is the passing score for Geometry EOC?
Achievement Level 3 (on the 1–5 scale) — the same standard as all Florida EOCs. Aim for 80%+ on full-length mocks to give yourself a buffer against the harder proof-style questions on the official exam.
I'm not in Florida — does Geometry prep here still apply?
Yes. Geometry topics — coordinate proofs, similarity, right-triangle trig, circles, transformations — are universal across state Geometry courses. Our questions are standards-aligned by origin but the geometry is the same. Students in 9 U.S. states and 5 countries use the platform; NJ NJGPA and LA LEAP students often pair Geometry with Algebra 1 prep here.
