Which subjects have an EOC?
The same five EOC assessments are offered in every window: Algebra 1, Geometry, Biology 1, U.S. History (high school), and Civics (middle school). The Algebra 1 EOC is a graduation requirement; passing means Achievement Level 3 or higher.
What about retakes?
Because the EOC is offered in four windows a year (Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer), a student who doesn't reach Level 3 can retake at the next window. The summer 2027 windows (June 21–25 and July 12–16) are the last chances in this cycle.
Other Grade 9–12 assessments this year
- FAST PM1/PM2/PM3 (Grades 9–10 ELA Reading & Mathematics progress monitoring): fall, winter, and spring
- Statewide Science (Grades 5 & 8): May 3–28, 2027
- Writing (Grades 4–10): March 29–April 9, 2027
- Statewide SAT (Grade 11): March–April 2027 (ACT and CLT options run February–April 2027); PSAT/NMSQT: October 2026 (districts choose SAT, ACT, or CLT)
